All seafarers employed or hired on board a ship should be aware of the basic principles of personal safety, since these are part of their comprehensive training; and will allow you to manage safety-related aspects with skills. Knowing what to do, when to do it and doing it right, allows to act correctly while facing of the dangers of the ship and the work carried out on it; thus avoiding complications and minimizing the risks of  contamination and bad practices in ship-related duties. Being this, clearly the essence of all seafarers who are on open sea. That is why the structure of the course has been developed, so the participant is competent and has the proper aptitude to develop the skills, abilities and perform within their tasks and functions onboard.
